Classy exotic

I am unsure of the species of this wood. I know its not from the US. It is not stabilized because exotic woods commonly don't stabilize well. It has beautiful grain and feels great in the hand. 

In the photo is a 26mm synthetic knot, but I ended up setting a 28mm silvertip badger knot. It is super dense and beefy!
